Bartholomew T. Vereb, M.D., M.A

The founder of Dynamic Health Associates, P.A., Dr. Bartholomew T. Vereb is fully licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the State of Florida. He is a fellowship-trained specialist in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.

Dr. Vereb is an internationally educated physician; he took his M.D. degree at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland, European Union. It is precisely this global experience that afforded him unprecedented opportunities to study unique treatments. Thanks to this opportunity, he has rare insight into medicine from a global perspective.

Prior to entering medical school, Dr. Vereb completed his pre-medical studies at Harvard University.

An expert in complementary and alternative medicine, Dr. Vereb routinely shares his expertise with patients. He is a peer reviewer for the Harvard-based www.naturalstandard.com. This is a premiere database providing the most up to date, and most rigorously research information on vitamins, herbs, and dietary supplements.

Dr. Vereb strongly believes that medication and mainstream medicine only provide part of the answer. Nutrition, exercise, and physician-supervised dietary supplementation are often equally important factors in the quest for wellness. He is so convinced of this that he formed his own company, www.biomotivia.com, dedicated to creating truly effective, and fully research-based supplements. It comes as no surprise that diet, exercise, and supplements are an integral part of Dr. Vereb's treatment plans.

But a sound body must have a sound mind. Not simply a scientist, Dr. Vereb has a solid background in the Humanities. His undergraduate degree is in English & Creative Writing, and he also holds a Master's degree in Philosophy. This wider education affords him a unique insight into the human condition. It allows him to better understand how difficult life can be, and the problems humans face. The study of philosophy goes hand-in-hand with logic, providing Dr. Vereb him with critical thinking skills rarely found in medicine. These skills serve him well in his continuing efforts to improve the accuracy of his diagnoses.

Dr. Vereb completed his medical internship at The Ochsner Clinic Foundation and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center at New Orleans.

Little did he know that just one month after his arrival in New Orleans, Hurricane Katrina would come. Dr. Vereb persevered through the storm and it's aftermath, and decided to remain at Ochsner and LSU. He completed his post-graduate residency training in General Psychiatry at Ochsner/LSU.

He then completed further sub-specialty fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and served as Chief Resident.

He also had a unique opportunity to participate in a one-year fellowship in Infant Mental Health at the LSU Harris Center, an academic track usually reserved for Ph.D. candidates in Psychology.

Dr. Vereb has taught windsurfing in Key West, held minor movie roles in Hollywood, and grew up in Bradenton, FL, where he attended St. Stephen's School.

He is delighted to be back and able to serve the needs of this community with his unique skills and experience!
